Fedor Emelianenko Makes $1.5 Million, Dan Henderson Scores $800,000 for July 30 Strikeforce Fight - MMAFrenzy.com

A non-title matchup between Strikeforce light heavyweight champ Dan Henderson and Fedor Emelianenko will take place at heavyweight, not a 220-pound catchweight, when it headlines “Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Henderson” on July 30.
Emelianenko will earn $1.5 million for the bout, while Henderson in guaranteed $800,000, effectively guaranteeing the event will lose money, according to ESPN.
Tickets for the Showtime-televised event at the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates, Illinois outside Chicago go on sale to UFC Fight Club members on June 2, newsletter subscribers on June 3, and the general public on June 4.
